Abstract :
Micro strip patch antennas have been studied extensively over the past two decades because of its low profile structure, light weight and low cost. they have many advantages over conventional antennas, which make them suitable for a wide variety of applications. however, major drawback for this type of antennas low efficiency , narrow bandwidth and surface wave losses. to improve surface wave losses uses electro magnetic band gap structures & for bandwidth improvement we use dummy EBG patern on feed line.

Key-Words / Index Term :
Dual Patch Antenna, Dummy EBG, Improve Bandwidth
